sat (ohio, america)

so last week i took my first attempt at the SAT and i didnt take the psat or anything because i wanted to sleep in on those days. Anyways it's like two 30 minute sessions for both math and english that are timed. before the test starts you are given a piece of paper to write on and all drinks have to go on the floor. you have to put your phone in your backpacks and youre not even allowed to have them out during the break (you get one). you can ask for a pencil but you have to bring your own calculator. I also found it overall hard to study for the sat because my teachers didnt really help me and it's hard to know if youre doing something right when you dont have the answers to look over.

english: i had to read some short articles and answer questions about either reading comprehension or grammar. i found this part fairly easy the only issue was that it was timed so i felt rushed but otherwise ok. the only problem with these articles is that they were really wordy and included lots of authors long names though they werent really important. they were only important on the questions where you had to click which answer the authors name was cited correctly.

Math: you had to answer questions from mostly algebra 1 and geometry. these were also very wordy and you had to imagine it in your head sorta. i think i personally did way worse on the math than the english.
