Playing Genshin Impact for da characterz

Sup, guys. I’ve been playing Genshin Impact for the first time since about two weeks ago (?) since I REALLY WANT Wriothesley, a five-star character who has an ongoing event. Basically in Genshin Impact, five-star characters like him are only available during events that last for a month. It’s a Gacha game so you have to roll for him.

Gawd Wriothesley is SO GREAT. He’s proof that personality is also everything. You look at him at first… You could say he looks rather generic. Dare you say… A 2019 Gacha Life Bad Wolf Boy design. Then you check out his voice lines and the storylines he’s involved in… And you’re like. Oh, wait. This guy is GREAT!

This is his second rerun since his debut in fall of 2023. I have less than four days now. There are plenty of different currencies in the game. Pretty sure the ones you need to roll for Rio are called intertwined fates… I only have three now. I rolled earlier and didn’t get him. Omg he’s so perfect. His idle animation…. His weapon is a gauntlet (think of Thano’s Infinity gauntlet) and spends time taking off deviously placed stickers from it. That’s because he lives under an ocean full of mischievous sea furry creatures that play pranks a lot. Nvm that didn’t make much sense.

I haven’t been playing the game consistently. Yesterday, I finally got Co-Op for the first time and I forgot I had it on. Two different Spanish players joined my server at different times. One left and the other joined and stayed. They apologized, saying they didn’t speak Spanish. I apologized, too. I was fully expecting for them to leave but instead they went around my map and began showing me all the checkpoints, teleportation points, and  chests I hadn’t gotten to yet. I was Level 16, they were level 18. They had DILUC which made me ECSTATIC. Lol their high-ranked characters killed all the monsters there INSTANTLY which gave me character XP. It was SOOO FREAKING SWEET; I thanked them multiple times for their help. They eventually had to leave. I was smiling the whole time they were in my world.

Now I regret not playing Genshin Impact sooner. I could have played it back in 2020. But whatever regret is kinda useless. Can’t change the past. Though I’m going to be sad to not get Wrio. His next rerun will probably happen when I’m legally allowed to drink.

It’s actually such a good game though, Genshin Impact is. Makes me feel like a true gamer 101. It sucks I can’t play it on my MacBook. It sucks playing it on my phone. I deleted a mouthful of images on my iPad to get more storage and now I play the game on there.
