ATTENTION TO ALL TRANS PEOPLE WHO WANNA PASS!!!!
Introduction!
Hi! call me Max, and I'm 15 years old.
1 year ago, I used to have longer hair, and looked more feminine, and felt like I can't pass as a guy because I'm not "masculine enough"
But now, I look like a guy, and feel like a guy! People often think I'm a guy now! I know I still do have some feminine features, but I still love myself. Me personally, I don't think that the main goal for trans people are just "transitioning" or "being able to pass well". I think the most important thing is to not be afraid of presenting yourself, and loving/caring about yourself. (not feeling insecure about something about you)
1. Mindset
If you're trans and think you're not passing well, your mind is probably like,
"I should wear this to look more masc/fem"
"I like this item but that would be too girly/boyish!"
"I wish I had a more masc/fem body"
This is not a good mindset to have, and that's what stopping you from feeling passable!!!
Instead, you should start thinking like this!
"I like this shirt, so I'll wear this!"
"I like exercising and working out my body because I feel healthier, and it helps me achieve my dream body"
"He looks pretty, and she looks handsome! Everyone looks beautiful in their own unique way."
Just try and think/say these phrases at least once a day. Try to get yourself to think things in a different way.
2. Body
This applies to ftm, mtf, and literally anybody else. Taking care of your body means having better mental health, and good mental health means less negative/insecure thoughts. here are stuff that I do when I feel burnt out.
- Open the window and let the fresh air in
- drink water
- toilet break
- trash all of the stuff that has been piling up in your room
- wash hands/face
- take a shower
- brush teeth
- stretching your body
Also, if you're a trans guy, I will 100% recommend starting arm/shoulder workouts!!! Just doing workouts everyday made me WAY MORE confident about my body. (even though the results were small, I still felt really cool)
Here is a link to my blog -----> arm/shoulder workouts that worked for me!
3. Hairstyle
Uhhhh I think this one is going to be more about how to maintain short hair by yourself
I have a short wolfcut ish hairstyle, and I often cut my hair by myself. I go to a hair salon only once in a couple of months to have a fresher cut.
Honestly, I don't recommend tying a part of your hair (or even twisting) and cutting it. I often see people cutting hair like this online, but I don't think it's the best way because it's going to look a lot different than u expect ;-;
Don't pull your hair tight while cutting!!! once you release, it's gonna look WAY shorter.
4. Fashion
FTM, FTX, MASC BINDER TIPS!!!
I know a lot of trans people don't have binders due to family issues and stuff, so I'll teach y'all how I used to bind my chest before I had one.
- Get 2 camisoles, set the straps to the tightest
- wear one backwards, and fold up 1 or 2 times
- wear the second camisole backwards again (fold it 1 or 2 times again if you want)
This worked just like a binder would! The cons are that it could be unstable sometimes. Me personally, it won't bother too much. (ok for basic movements + survives p.e. class)
Here is an another one I found online
- Get 2 sport bras
- wear one normally (if either is tighter or looser, wear the looser one first)
- wear the second one backwards.
The first bra should fit you comfortably, and the second bra should be tight to bind your chest. (However be carefull!!! If you get uncomfortable breathing by just walking/jumping/using stairs, I recommend taking it off as quick as possible!!)

I will be updating with more information!!! :)))
