Someone I know likes the rain, he's a farmer
He likes how it waters his crops, how it gives him a chance to rest
How it offers him a new pleasant memory
Someone else I know likes the rain, she's a painter
She likes how it gives inspiration, likes the atmosphere it gives off
How it offers her a new pleasant memory

Maybe I don't like the rain
It is annoying, and sad, and wet; everything I hate
But it's necessary
