Maybe it's just me being sensitive, most probably
However I haven't been able to shake off the feeling ever since I've been ridiculed in front of the class. I guess it struck a cord because it had to do with my voice which is one of my biggest insecurities, not to mention with school officials who were observing the class. Also the fact it had to be a gay teacher. C'mon, you change everything about how the community is supposed to be, but I never should rely on it in the first place because every person is different. (I'm a trans guy.) Is it his humor? Does he hate me? Who knows really. But the fact he did it when normally he'd ignore me sure was something that won't go away from my trauma list! Haha.
Not to mention another teacher whose personality you can't even understand. I don't wanna get ahead of my ass and claim it's this and that, but the way he interacts with almost everybody is unpredictable. Even casual, hell, PROFESSIONAL discussions are hard to hold with him because it's like you're walking on eggshells all the time. That's without all the uncomfortable jokes and comments he makes. It's tiring. And yet people still sweep this under the rug and say it's all normal. I can never understand. I know people can be different, for sure, but these sorts of behavior ... I just never understand it. Maybe I really am the stupid one for not understanding any of it.
Oh well rant over, I just wanted to say it somewhere.

Even if you are sensitive or misunderstood something, THE TEACHER SHOULD NOT MAKE FUN OF THE STUDENT. He's not your friend or relative, it's very strange. You came to the lesson to gain knowledge, and he came to give it. At this time, no one implies that you even talk to him not on the topic of the lesson (and your voice was hardly this topic). your teacher just acted VERY unprofessionally:( This was especially confirmed by the fact that he did it in front of all his classmates. Any adult should understand that this is a bad idea, but the teacher did not do it (or pretended not to understand)

I didn't expect that someone would notice and care to comment on my post. Putting my feelings to the void helped so seeing your words made me feel even better and seen though it's hard to show in text ( ≧Д≦) May you have a good time as well!
