2025: year of the Tennyson

Y'know "Ben 10"? Like, that old cartoon network show from the late 2000s-early 2010s which had a big craze surrounding Omnitrix toys and not much else that just sorta died out? Peak fiction, amirite? Well, a full twenty years later... He's back.

Yeah, I'm sure fans of the show will immediately feel like a decaying corpse when I say this, but, there's still no show, and, uh, the last one ended half-a-decade ago, and in-between those four years... Nothing happened! But: it all changed around christmastime, '24 when the store you know oh, so well, Hot Topic (c'mon, you're on a MySpace revival) released a bunch of "Ben 10"-themed items, most notably, these mystery bag clips (pictured); and that, my friend, was only just the beginning... The beginning of the Tennyson revival.

It's now early 2025: and in the same week, we get a cameo appearance in CN's big crossover event everyone but CN has been hyping up for a year: "crisis on infinite mirths" (in which I covered; pictured), then, the next thing was a video made by the film theorists (R.I.P. MatPat lol) ABOUT BEN 10 WE ARE FINALLY GETTING THE REPRESENTATION WE DESERVE!

There was also a rumored complete-franchise DVD set circulating online, but that turned out to be fake. Not long after, New York geek/actual fashion company, Daylight curfew released the first official UAF jacket! But, as I said, this was an actual fashion company, so it's mucho overpricio!

Then, the madlads at Youtooz (the company who made figurines of such household names, such as Ugandan Knuckles, Scott the woz and Markiplier) just today, revealed the official design for the Ben Tennyson figurine (pictured)! It'll be an extremely limited run of ten days, so I hope I can get my grubby paws on one before they sell out, and due to the phrasing of "Part of the 'Ben 10' collection", I think we're also gonna get more aliens!!!

And with a comic book series on the horizon, I think it's safe to say that the Tennysons are gonna have an awesome 20th birthday.
