Scott pilgrim lore !!

So all of us here might've heard of this series called "Scott Pilgrim" but you don't know if its a movie, a show, a graphic novel or a game. Well, it's all of those. Yep, can you believe it ? It started out as a graphic novel (a comic book) in 2003 by a Canadian cartoonist called Bryan Lee O'Malley.

Every version of scott pilgrim is slightly similar to the other versions some ways.They all include the important parts that Scott needs to fight Ramona's evil exes to be able to date her. But in some versions- such as the show, it's portrayed more differently. 

In this blog, I will try my best to talk about most of the Scott Pilgrim lore and why is it so popular and loved. (This is going to be VERY long)

Let's start with the graphic novel as it's the oldest and longest, We start with the Sex Bob-Ombs hanging out while Scott is talking about the highschooler he is dating (may I add that Scott is 23 years old...I don't know how dating MINORS is so normalised in this series lol). He talks about how he met her, the seventeen year old Knives Chau, at the bus with her mom when he helped her get her books back after they fell. A day later, Scott shows Knives his band and let her see them rehearse. (His band, the Sex Bob-Ombs, include; Kim pine <drums>, Stephen Stills  <vocals and guitar>, Scott Pilgrim <bass> oh and Stephen's roommate, Young Neil would usually also be with them playing on his game console ). Their band isn't very known and not a lot of people would enjoy their music so that's why it seemed pretty weird that Knives was absolutely obsessed with their band- or maybe just the idea of Scott playing bass who knows ? Soon, other people such as Scott's sister- Stacey, will find out that he's dating a high schooler (she found from Scott's gay roommate Wallace as they are good friends, yes him being gay is VERY important in the story). Scott continues dating her, he picks her up from school sometimes and then they would go shopping. Things were all normal until this happened and when they went home Scott had this really strange dream. 

He was all alone in some isolated desert, talking to himself, saying that he's so alone. He kept repeating that and repeating until he got cut off by this pink-haired girl in roller blades, she told him he wasn't alone and that he was having some idiotic dream. He then woke up and totally freaked out about it and then he had sushi with other Scott and Wallace. After that, he went to the library with Knives but then...he saw the "girl of his dreams" or just the girl from his dreams.

That night, he had another dream about the girl. The Sex Bob-Ombs were performing live and then she appeared, he said that he was dreaming, and she said good call.

The next day, Scott, Stephen, Kim and Young Neil were going to a party at Julie's (a girlboss and used to be Stephen's girlfriend). At the party, Scott was asking Michael Comeau about the girl in his dream. Scott and her nearly had the same hair type except she had longer strands on each side. So he used his fingers to make the longer strands and by asking,"Do you know this one girl with hair like this ?". He told her about a girl called Ramona. He was looking around and then he finally found her. They had a small conversation, it all went well until he asked if he was dreaming. There was some awkward silence and then he said he'd leave forever now, but he didn't, he actually stalked her until she left the party. He asked Michael Comeau about her again. He said that she's American, from New York specifically (not Canadian like most of the other characters) and that she only moved to Toronto a couple of weeks ago. He then asks Julie about her and she mentioned that she worked at Amazon.ca and that she kept coming to Second Cup- where Julie works, that's how Julie met her in the first place.  Then, Stephen mentioned that she just experienced a huge breakup but Julie didn't want Scott to know that because he hadn't had a girlfriend in a while and now she forbids him from dating her. But he eventually does as we all know.

The next day, he orders "cool" CDs from Amazon.Ca so he would meet her again. He goes out with Knives- they kiss for the first time ????????? Crazy, I know. They went shopping and stuff but he seemed pretty uninterested as Ramona now rules his brain.  

The band rehearsed and mentioned that they will be performing live soon. Scott dreams another dream about Ramona, about how his CDs will probably be delivered today and they actually did. Scott asked Ramona to hang out later and they did, they started getting to know each other and walking and you know, stuff that usually happens in dates and then it got way too cold so Ramona took Scott to her house, but not in a very normal way. She goes home using ''Subspace'', this is also how she delivers her orders in Amazon.Ca. 

She makes Scott some tea and went to get him a blanket due to him freezing, but she took a very long time so Scott entered her room and found her changing and then they sleep together and Scott wakes up when Ramona gets ready for work.

Soon, Scott returns back home to Wallace (yes his gay roommate) and then he told Wallace about what happened last night with Ramona. Wallace told him to break up with Knives (his fake high school girlfriend) and then tells him about a letter addressed to him. It mentioned the same things in the email Scott discarded a few days ago and again Scott ignored it. 

It was the night the Sex Bob-Ombs performed. While they were waiting for their turn, Scott noticed that both Knives and Ramona were in the room. Scott panicked and went to backstage. He was also panicking because Knives was kissing him when he noticed that Ramona was also there. The Crash and The Boys were performing a song that apparently made most of the crowd faint using some weird powers. Stacey, Ramona, Wallace, Jimmy (Stacey’s boyfriend) and the Sex Bob-Ombs didn’t get effected thought, Stacey and Ramona were in the bathroom, Wallace and Jimmy were making out…the power of queer men, I guess? And the Sex Bob-Ombs were in another room. When it was time for them to perform, some Indian emo looking guy just entered…actually flew...

The guy tried to punched Scott in the face right when he entered but Scott avoided (?) the punch and punched him back ??? Uhm appearently the ghuy had some power in the punch...Scott punched him again...and again...but in various places until he hit him like 64 times...and he's somehow still alive. Scott asked the guy who he was and he got a little frustrated because appearently it's the same guy who sent him the email and the letter that Scott skimmed and discarded and that guy is...Mathew Pattel. Wait who is he? He's Ramona's first evil ex. Appearently he's fighting Scott because of Ramona, he asked him when did he date Ramona but Mathew refused to tell him so Ramona got up and explained...
