Only a second one of these and I've already come to complain about my mother.

Dad's at work, and she comes home from wherever she was and immediately starts complaining. I understand relationships are hard, but there is no reason for you to be telling me -- your son -- that you want to murder him and bury him in our backyard. For what? He didn't leave her any cigs in the packet. Seems rather melodramatic to me. 

Now she's going to be huffing and puffing the rest of the day, per usual. She won't shut up about how my dad is a stupid ass, and while I agree, I'm so tired of hearing it from her. She has friends, so why can't she go talk to them about it instead of me? I listen to it all the time. 

She also tends to complain about me not spending time with her, but every time I show her something that I like or something I've done she either ignores me and says nothing, or just goes 'uh huh' while she's not even looking. I held a whole half of a conversation with her talking about the storm in the next town over and all the damage, and she's just channel surfing on the tele. THEN when I tell her I'm going back to my room and make my way to the stairs, I hear her muttering something under her breath.

Mum, do you like me or not? Do you want me to spend time with you or not? I implore you to make up your mind because it's driving me crazy.

I don't even want to go to Lily about it either because this is almost a daily occurrence of her being like this, so I feel like I'm just getting annoying by ranting about the same stuff. I don't want to burden her.
