ONE OF THE BEST SCREAMO BANDS OUT THERE. Although not being one of the biggest screamo bands out there for sure, they’re not small either. Whenever I have to think of THE screamo album, and isn’t based on popularity, I always go to s/t by Iwrotehaikus. An album full of genuine and pure raw emotion, I have listened to that album on repeat for hours. I genuinely feel like I will never stop finding new ways to perceive the album and find some kind of new beauty in one of their songs. I don’t think I have a favorite song off that album. But the one that has stuck with me the most are three and twelve. Both are beautiful songs about love, three talking about the desperation in love, and twelve talking about the sad yet beautiful reality of love. If you have never listened to iwrotehaikus, please give them a chance. This in my eyes, is my definitive screamo band.
