Ok so I don't really remember from the second quarter of the school year so I'm gonna try to look at my pictures and try base my memory off of that ^-^
Alright so to start off we had a fundraiser in choir for a competition later on in December. We each had to sell at least 10 boxes of chocolate, but I only sold 7. Despite not quite reaching the goal, I had fun trying to sell each box. I even got some squishy rats from Spirit Halloween to give away for each bar and made a tiktok about it :D That same day, me and my friend went to go see our school's musical of Mama Mia! Omg that was a super fun night, everyone did a great job and there was a dance party at the end!!! Obviously I didn't take any pictures or videos tho but like.... just trust me😭😭😭
Halloween was amazing this year too! I went with the same friend I went to the musical with and (obviously) we trick or treated. My friend dressed up as Ghostface and I was Freddy Krueger with wings, a tiara, and a magic star wand (Fairy Krueger) and we got extra candy from one of the houses because of it :DDDD That school day was pretty cool, it was nice seeing everyone's costumes!! After Halloween, we had our last two home games. We were only supposed to have one, but our football team made playoffs, so we had one more game after that and then we lost that one. Ngl I'm glad the other team ate us up bc overall they were amazing. Not just the players, but their dance team, their cheerleaders, their band, you should've seen their halftime performance!! Like, it seemed so simple, but at the same time it had so much ₊‧.°.⋆⭑pizzazz⭑⋆.°.₊ like even their mascot was involved (he did a death drop and the crowd went wild🤭🤭🤭)!!!
Eventually, our chocolate fundraiser ended and it was time for the competition!! This was the first acapella competition for all of us, and the overall experience was pretty nice. Side note, that school did not feel like a school at all, like why was it so humongous, and the some of the hallways were curvy instead of angular. I shit you not when we walked in, we looked up and there were literal CHANDELIERS hanging from the ceiling, not like the fancy crystal ones that would be in a movie or ballroom, but they were still super big and shaped like clover blossoms! Like idk if it's just bc my school is a lot smaller by comparison, but every time we go to a different school even in our region it just feels like I'm in a castle💀💀Anyway, each group performed one of our songs and the judges decided which six would move on to finals on the next night. Neither one of our groups made it that night, however in the drawing during dinner the second night that decided the 7th finalist group our all girl group made it :DDDDDD so the next night we watch them and the other six finalists perform their entire set. Everyone did so amazing!! Also there was one specific group there that our group is still fangirling over to this day, they were one of our favorites and some of us watched them during the classes and open rehearsals that day. Also that night our bus broke down so we had to get all of our stuff off of it. What made it pretty fun (looking back, not while it happened ;u;) was that it was raining, I don't remember how hard, but it definitely wasn't light lmao. We got home at like 1 am. Believe it or not that was earlier than we expected, especially with the bus situation. That whole arc was the main thing that I remembered about the second quarter, other than that it just looks like we were preparing for our winter concert, and then that next week we just had midterms and hung out and stuff. I also signed myself out for the first time after one of my tests :> Also I finally became eligible for my off periods so I got my 1st off, and right now I'm working on my 7th. The fourth day of spring break just started almost 2 hours ago as of finishing this up and I'm a bit tired so I'll probably start on my 3rd quarter some time later this week lol. Ngl I might do a photo dump idk when tho.I'm hoping the comments will be seen lmao
