Sly 2 band of thieves

Sly cooper is a bit of a niche still pretty popular within the PlayStation but still not popular enough to be included in new series like ape escape in astroboy 

But sly cooper 2 band of thieves is one of PlayStations best platformers and should definitely be played

Starting in the museum sneaking above the museum in the big open area instead of the linear levels of sly 1 the thevius racoonus 

Being able to pickpocket and the sound of sneaking up behind the guards is perfect and more pushing into the comic book burglar feel of sly 

When you’re playing as Murray and Bentley it is annoying to not be able to move around as well because the map being so built towards sly 

dimitri is obviously the standout villain 

“Have you no vision, are you hearing what I beam to you. You think you have juice?! You think you can swing the bat? Show your bling and let me shine you.

However all of the villains in this game are still good

Rajan,the contessa,Jean bison and arpeggios are all unique and interesting in their own levels 

I do like the villains from sly 1 more but they are way more fleshed in this one and they actually do evil things instead of the feindish 5 just stealing slys book but clockwork is much better than arpeggio though

Finally the Paris theme is the greatest song in the ost and I’m not joking 

I have more to say about the ending but that’s Down there if you don’t wanna see 

I definitely give this an 9/10 and should definitely be played if you have a ps5 or a ps2 or an em

End game spoiler after this

After beating clockla having murray leave the crew and having Bentleys legs being crushed is pretty shocking and a good lead into sly 3 with Murray and the shaman and Bentley with his wheelchair but clockla is a terrible villain and is just another step to the end of clockwork
