The view I wish I never knew.

The grass itches my legs, the breeze swirls around my body and into my hair like a mother running her fingers through her child's hair to comfort him.

The sound of the raindrops falling onto leaf after leaf make a beautiful melody with the birds as they sing out a little tune.

The atmosphere stays damp and humid, after the sky and I cried for her.

The pretty sunset with it sun rays lay on her face, making it glimmer but with a bittersweet taste of sin and peace.

As a rope grips tightly around her neck, it haunts me with the lingering scent of her perfume in the air mixed with her decaying body.

A spoonful of questions and guilt shove down my throat, suffocating me along with my voice.

Her hands cold to the touch, failing to return a grip with mine.

My eyes locked on her face with my mind blank, longing for an escape from this reality but there was no exit.

Only this beautiful view with her as my muse, wishing I never knew.
