There is an option to add pictures on the format bar, and it looks like a picture frame or smth (it's blue) and you have to just add your image url there!

you cant upload images directly, you have to do it like with the images on your profile using . The url you can get by uploading the picture (for example) as a tumblr draft or using something like pastebin.
