Sopping for ganguros and old school gals!
Hey my ganguro gyaruos and gyarus!
I wanted to give back to my fellow old school lovers and what's better than talking about something all of us love to death?! SHOPPING!!!!
So, here's the deal-io, I'm gonna talk about good inspo then just so you can see what you like, then I'm gonna give a small lecture into tips when shopping for gyaru stuff, then imma link a few recs and junk and thennnn BOOM outro that cool?

(Also I'm currently listening to the parapara paradise ost so if i sound hype that's why (๑ > ᴗ < ๑)).
Alright inspo:
I suggest magazine scans from mags like egg, popteen, ego (1999-2006 are like the best for Ganguro/-oes)
Another piece of good inspo is the GALS manga whether that be from the scans on pintrest or offical art it shows a lot of girls wearing platform boots, heels, and sandals and capris are also very huge at this time.
Also hear me outon this one: catalogs fromthe 2000s for teens and I'm talking about the girlfriends LA catalog it has SOOOOOOO much inspo for gals. Not to mention the fact delia's is stillalive and kickin! But since they're alive through dollskill just buy through thrifting.
Main components for old school:
capris
flare pants
mini skirts
Platform shoes (Sneakers, boots, heels, sandals)
Fur coats or trench coats
bangles, circlets, a lot of gold and silver thin bracelets
crop tops and camis
both are kinda have the same fashion ingredients tbh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
main components for ganguro:
Alba coats
white eye shadow and lipstick
face stickers (Optional)
LEIS lots of leis
Stitch anything (Yes from lilo and stitch)
or just any cute character apparel(Or as we like to call them Gyaru mascots)
clunky jewelry are very popular
mini skirts
brightly colored anything (Clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc)
Hawaiian jewelry
also...
cocolulu was very popular at this time
REMEMBER!
Measure yourself so you can get accurate clothing
ALSO: look at reviews that are in ur region, speak ur language, and/or the same size as you
FOR SHOES/CLOTHING: most brands from japan fit very small/skinny ppl so stuff might not fit you. find a converter online to see if you can find something up a size
If you can, talk to the seller! It's always nice to have a second opinion.
ANOTHER ALSO: People scalp A LOT always see if they're are cheaper options
