We all came from our parents in our own hometowns. The life that proceeds through the town is minimal, it's all farms. The people there have millions of their problems without solutions or plans to change any. All of this life makes us human. We all watch the sunset at the end of the day because this is where we live and who we are. For thousands of years, we have tilted the earth's soil together, reaping the everlasting flow of life. The people did it all together, every human did something to bring us here today. When you forget who built the home you live in, you forget the value of it. Because it isn't just the structure of the place that matters, it's who created it.
When you watch your fellow people even suggest something that banishes your existence in entirety? How can you withstand that feeling? How often has your country been put on a human rights watch list this year? There is no telling how long it will be before the break. There was no reason to suggest something of the sort because nothing was wrong with my friends, me, and the rest of the Americans affected. It is different, to watch your relationships with people die as soon as they show you their apathy. Though I've been told hundreds of times by my Parents, Friends, and Family how much They don't understand who I am, I still manage to be human. I Manage to wake up each morning and take care of my responsibilities as a person yet not be understood by anyone. I walk on the grass while they walk on the sidewalk. We are going to the same place.
I've dealt with my fair share of disgust and shame from my parents. They were never disgusted when I won a trophy in martial arts, or when I performed a concert in front of them. My family has always loved the things I produce and share with them, either music, art, or success, it's what they love about me. I often wonder how many people see the same thing in their family. Are you just your creations? I work every day just to see all of it break and fall flat on deaf ears. Yet most of the people just like me refrain from sharing anything. Too afraid they would be kicked out by their parents. Or rejected by their loved ones.
You are told of a monster hiding among you, something dangerous to children, something that needs to be locked away- for good. How scared are you? There's something out here that looks just like you. Most people would be terrified, if something like that existed out in the world. Something that could turn your children into monsters, disgusting creatures that writhe around in pain and harm. Now, you’ve met one and they shook your hand and smiled and gave you a “Nice to meet you, My Name’s ____”. They are everywhere and they aren't scary. You’ve known them for years and still, they haven't turned into this horrible monster everyone is talking about. You look at your kid, they seem fine too. There is no monster. We are human and we teach your kids how to read, we stop your fires, we protect and serve and we walk beside each other- beside you. It's only 1.6% of people here that are the monsters here. Yet if that 1.6 percent walked south just a little bit it's the people afraid of them who decide to kill 35 of us.
