I get that you might don't know where to buy inexpensive/cheap cool clothes but you can literally built a cooler wardrobe out of vinted n other second hand apps. These are usually cheaper and can find real good prices and offers 

Aside from shein, temu and other fast fashion companies exploding their workers and they having terrible work conditions, these clothes are usually micro-trends and bad quality items that won't endure more than a few years compared with clothes from my mom/aunties that they bought in the early 2000s.

They also steal a lot of patterns from small companies and creators and if we start normalizing buying all your wardrobe from shein (being alternative) bcos at one point we will all have the same bad-quality clothes created from stolen small companie's designs and ideas 

if u already have like a lot of clothes and want to start dressing alternative you can do a research of which style suits you more in ideas, music and aesthetics and start selling and thrifting ur clothes and also DIY your own closet and sew a few other things, I made like 2 different pieces of clothing out of one long pant from my brother that he didn't wanted and bough like a million years ago 

So yeah, there are a lot of alternatives to fast fashion and maybe new hobbies if you take it seriously
