i watched saw 2004 - toxic doomed yaoi 💔💔💔

one  of my spacehey resolutions is to actually write reviews for movies ive seen instead of putting one liners in the letterboxd reviews 😇 so i will start this tradition with saw which i just finished rn

i cant believe i just watched this movie rn when its such a staple to the bloody tragic horror-adjacent yaoi genre that transmascs on tumblr are so obsessed with...... alongside reanimator and fight club and etc.

watching this after seeing all the gorey effects of the later movies makes me realize this one really isnt that graphic? but i still loved it 🤗 i cant believe a low budget directorial debut like this is so influential to the horror genre ❤❤

lowkey thought this movie was  goofy af but adam really grew on me idk.... he always seemed so pitiful but watching his inaction the whole movie even when dr. lawrence was already trying to kill him made me realize how tragic he really is 💔 ADAM 💔💔💔💔 HE WAS SO YOUNG 💔💔

also i thought amanda  would be in here more but apparently not? i loved her outfit though its so cute... such a presence in this movie despite only being there for like 5 minutes

anyway i love this movie 4/5 stars with a heart... i love the drama of it all dramatic soundtrack dramatic telenovela editing dramatic leigh whannell overacting (❤) dramatic family drama.... love et!!! shout out to charlie clouser for the iconic soundtrack ofc i gotta mention nin here somehow
