Serpent's Kiss

I started listening to the song "Serpent's Kiss" by the mission probably back in October, it's been my most repeated song for months. It came up through my Spotify recommended, but while I was sleeping. Occasionally, I'll fall asleep with music playing through my headphones, sometimes it'll wake me up if it's too noisy, but I dreamt through Serpent's Kiss until the very end of the song. I remember the dream very clearly, which is unusual for me because I don't remember a lot of my dreams. 

The dream took place at a library, the one from my home town, I was sitting next to someone who liked the same bands as I. I'm not sure what we were reading, but we were definitely not focused on the material. I remember my friend whispering to me, I couldn't really make out what they were saying, but they were happy about something. Eventually I left the library and the sun was down, it was super dark out, I feel like the time could've been late evening. I was nervous because I wasn't sure where my friend was, at this point I was crossing the street. I somehow didn't see the car coming towards me, but the person I locked eyes with was my friend. They were about to speed their car right into me and I stopped for them, that was when I woke up from the song. It was the very end of the song, I didn't get to know what happened. I most likely got hit by the car my friend was driving, but it sticks out to me because I was feeling a rush, it felt really good? I don't imagine getting hit by a car feels good, but I feel like I trusted the friend that was about to hit me, even though I didn't know who it was. 

Lol, I will code the song onto the post for fun because it technically has been a favorite of mine for months. Y'all should listen :) It's in their first album. I also really like the music video because it's so silly.
