Successful surgery

My surgery for endometriosis went very well.  My first week of recovery I was absolutely miserable, but I'm now feeling better and better every day. Ready to go back to work on Monday.

My doctor said my endometriosis was worse than she had anticipated prior to the surgery, but she was able to remove all except one spot on my appendix. I had multiple endometriomas in both of my ovaries, which caused them to be enlarged and they were almost the same size as my uterus. Scar tissue had caused my ovaries to be stuck to each other, my uterus, my bowels, and my sides. Now I'm on the road to recovery and once I'm fully healed I should be feeling so much better than I did before.
