I'm tired of people thinking I'm stupid

I just started noticing it this year. Especially when I'm at school. Whenever I ask some of my teachers a question, or I ask one of my teammates (softball) for some help, they seem to dumb down their words and speak in an almost condescending way that really irks me. I am no Einstein, of course. But I'm tired of people talking down to like I'm some charity case. I'm damn near a senior in high school. Now that I'm really thinking about it, i realize that this has been going on for a while now. One of these days, I'll get tired of it and I'll do something about. but unfortunately, I'm a coward who can't fight, so that's not a good idea. But one day...
