Since I'll be loosing my job in 2 weeks, I'm currently job hunting. I'm not being picky at all and just going with whatever pays good. You think with a marketing degree, manager experience etc... business would love to hire me... well no.
You see, bitches are picky or only hire people they know. It fucking sucks. When I was hiring manager, I literally chose someone that had a passion for the store and good experience in retail. I could tell my unemployed friends were a bit sad to hear I wasn't picking them to work with. I wanted to be in work environment where I didn't have to smash friends and work together. I rather keep it sperate if anything. I believe it's a healthy work life balance as well, so I think they eventually understood where I was coming from.
If anything, they should be mad at the job market and how poor it's doing. You see job postings everywhere that require 1-2 years of experience of an entry level experience AND ITS RIDCUOLOUS. If it's actually 'entry level' THEN WHY DO WE NEED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE?
When I apply for in person jobs too, I'm meant with disapproving glances from employees that work there OR hear nothing back from the manager. Yes, I give them a physical job resume too and I believe my resume looks great. It's the 'business standard,' and updated as well.
Why is it like this??
