my thoughts for the song of achilles

spoilers ahead btw

i actually finished the book months ago, so this is a late post. i kid you not, i cried a LOT less than i thought. i mean i was expecting to have a full on breakdown, but tbh i cried the most when briseis died :((

it was still such a beautifully written book though, and i made a playlist for it so i can listen to it and mourn achilles and patroclus 🥰

i loved how it was written from patroclus’ pov, it really connects the reader to his character that i felt so attached to both him and achilles LMAOOO i kinda wanna write a proper book on here or smth, i don’t know. anyway, i highly recommend it, especially if you love greek and roman mythology <3
