I live in the suburbs and can't drive yet so that already makes things hard. But there is NOTHING to do within like 30 bike minutes of my house during the spring. I live next to a golf course, a gas station, and a national park. I don't wanna spend time in the golf course cause that's just a bunch a old people with the youngest regular being in his 40s. The national park is good in the summer cause it also has some stuff inside it so that's a potentiality (but only in the summer), and why would i hang arround a gas station. The only place to "hang out" (far stretch) is a library the size of an old 1800s schoolhouse that is currently being renovated for the entire season.
The only places to "be" are like 30-40 minutes away of straight biking so that must be like an all-day thing for the entire week.
I hope i have a better time navigating when i get to college, there's gotta be Some stuff in that small town and i could have a better time getting into clubs. But I'm worried Im just gonna get my hopes up for nothin.

I can relate so much
My old town I was miles away from fun and opportunities. My parents didn't want me to go out anywhere by myself. I had called my friends that had lived some ways from me. But every other time they were busy. Just these few months I'm now in a new area. I don't really miss my old town, just the same old thing. Except now it really is dangerous to go anywhere by myself. I feel like no one understands because they think I'm being "weird" about it. My mom tells me to stay inside at night which makes sense. I have no reason to go out except to do my daily tasks. But no matter where I'm at, I am always getting complaints how I don't go anywhere or socialize. I can't drive either yet. But getting a car in this economy? Lol, but anyways I feel your pain. I get more nagging than anything. I do try though but there's literally nothing to do. I'm so sorry for this long rant of mine too
No reason for apologizing, just glad someone can relate.
