All my emo clothes used to be thrifted flannels, hand-me-down tshirts I'd drawn on, hand-me-down trousers I'd ripped up and sewn into, and denim shorts I'd cut off myself. Occasionally I'd spend my pocket money at H&M or smth (alternative shops were very limited in England when I was a teen) but I don't recommend supporting fast fashion
