People were collecting little trinkets even in prehistory

I'm learning about different types of art in prehistory for my world history class, and I ended up choosing to write about these little guys called Dogu which were made during the Jomon era, in early Japan. They don't get talked about enough honestly like they look so silly you can't tell me people weren't just having jolly old time while making these guys. Anyway now I want one. I feel like this must have been their sonny angels or calico critters or something lol
