I was wandering around a fair, looking to see what I could find related to old music CDs, when I came across this really weird one.
I looked at the cover, and at first glance, it was crazy—there was this really intimidating text, "Heavens Fire," with a light phantom on top and some CGI graphics straight out of the 2000s. It seemed to represent a moon or some kind of planet.
At that point, I asked myself, "What genre could this be?" The CD had such a wild cover, and since it featured CGI, I guessed it had to be some kind of EDM music, right?
Hell no, I was completely wrong! LOL.
I got home, opened the CD for the first time, took it out, and checked the back of the cover to see the tracklist.
The album is called The Outside, and the band's name is Heavens Fire. The tracks on the CD are:
- Beyond
- Future’s Waiting
- Can You Believe
- The Outside
- Skitzo
- Tommy
- Mirror
- Long Way
- Now’s the Time
- Tears
At that point, I grabbed my Discman, inserted the CD, and hit play. Guess the genre? Yep, it’s rock! And after listening to the whole thing, I really enjoyed it.
So, what a surprise! As a final score, I’d give it an 8/10—nice songs to listen to casually.
As for the songs... Sorry, guys, but I could only find a video of the first one uploaded on YouTube.
LITTLE NOTE:
The CD booklet actually contains ALL the lyrics to the songs!
