"Wishing, Waiting, Watching" - A Poem By Me.

Fiery inferno of light,

Just out of reach;

Oh how I desire to catch

A  glimpse of you

Grazing through the sky.

Illuminating the night

With your glamorous light.

 

I wait for your arrival,

Eagerly observing the twilight above;

Waiting.

Watching.

Hours pass as I anticipate for a glance;

But fate intervenes,

And seizes my chance.

 

Alone and upset,

I retreat within.

Not knowing whether

The uncertain future

Will give me back

This chance.

An  once-in-a-lifetime

Experience;  possibly.

 

A  regret to bear,

For you have ignited my heart with

This unfulfilled wish.

Oh how I had desired to catch-

A glimpse of you,

Just out of reach,

Oh  fiery inferno

Of  light.
