The panic at the disco fandom is a prison

All they talk about is how bad Pray For The Wicked and Viva Las Vengeance are and how A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is the most peak thing ever. Its SO OVERDONE!!! 

AFYCSO is one of my favourite albums of all time and I have listened to it so much but I love the other albums too, including PFTW!! . I understand its different stylistically but it's not THAT bad... there's no way EVERYONE saying this shit geniunely means it . Like surely these people just haven't gotten the album a go and are just copying what everyone else is saying. Or they don't know any songs besides High Hopes (WHICH ISNT EVEN A BAD SONG!!!)

I honestly don't care about people disliking certain albums because I recognise their differences but it gets so annoying where all I see anyone talk about in P!ATD fandom spaces is people not wanting to be associated with brendon/high hopes/vlv . i don't care if you don't like brendon urie for whatever reason, if ryan is your favourite, hell, if ryan is the only member you gaf about and you haven't listened to any albums besides AFYCSO. You can engage with this band however the hell you like but just don't be spamming every comment section with "I like panic in a ryan ross way<3" as if it makes you better than everyone else.... At the end of the day we're all fucking losers who are still deeply involved with bandom, specifically PANIC AT THE DISCO in 2025 so maybe chill out, be a little more open minded, put on some different albums, and jam out!!! And if its not your jam go back to AFYCSO and move on. 

It geniuenly just feels like PFTW and VLV hate is the topic  P!ATD fans default to when they got nothing else to talk about, and it's not even about the opinion anymore, but about the fact that everyone has been trained to agree so it's easy engagement or something. I don't know. I feel like I'm going insane. 

Pretty. Odd. Is the only other album that ever gets mentioned and then that's IT and it's so SAD when their whole discography is filled with bangers that fit any mood or vibe you could possibly think of.

 A lot of these people don't even listen to The Young Veins which makes the whole loving ryan ross thing so.... idk. Like I understand liking THAT era of ryan specifically but check out his other projects idk. 

Whatever, rant over!!! On a sillier note I attempted some AFYCSO-era ryan ross inspired makeup the other day but I'm super shit at it so it turned out really goofy LOL . I ended up just being sat in my bath tub with a bowl of water desperately trying to rub it off, which, in retrospect, kneeling in a bathtub in ryan  cosplay wasn't really the smartest idea. Cool
