I'm not sure about where you live, but down here in Southern California, our summers are quite hellish to say the least, particularly so around late August/early September when the temperatures suddenly spike to being dangerously and very miserably hot (even more so if you live in an older building without air conditioning like I do). It's practically a desert around here and trust me when I say that I do NOT look forward to summer weather for this very reason.
But at least I get to have an all season wardrobe with clothing I can wear year round (just like one of those all season amusement park souvenir cups if you're a season pass holder to one of the many amusement parks around here), I guess.
