"Hell" is my favorite word in German because it means "light." I find this fascinating, as it shows that not everything that seems bad is truly bad. It also highlights how darkness can sometimes carry a positive meaning—reminding us that even in dark times, we can find light again. Language has a way of challenging our perceptions, and this word is a perfect example of how meaning can shift depending on context.
