A short video made me think too hard and now my hands hurt

I originally thought of this like a month or two back, but since I've started to blog here or something, it'd be nice to post it here.

Okay, so the main thing is this one video I saw while doom-scrolling. It was like "Hey, think of a character, think of another character completely unrelated to the first one, then think of a third character with nothing related to two first two. Now, if you want, rearrange them," I chose not to, btw. "The first character you chose is your past," I chose Crowley from Good Omens. "The second character is your present." I chose Captain from BBC Ghosts. "And lastly, the third character is your future." It was Hannibal from NBC Hannibal.

I was kerfuffled, in general it seems a little strange. A Demon to Ghost to Cannibal timeline? Obviously unrealistic. But then I thought about it deeper, it's not about the characters as they are physically seen, but what makes them the characters they are and how they can correlate with me. For extra context, I'm sort of an ambivert - Was extremely extroverted during early childhood, but when Covid hit, I completely shut off from everybody. The lack of socialisation, the lack of happiness... It drained me.

Crowley (Past.)

Crowley is a rather relatable character to me, especially when associating his character with my strange past. Yes, there are a couple loopholes, but I'm not here to focus on that. Now, would I really describe myself as an outcast to my own people so in hopes of finding comfort and safety, I cling onto someone who is my exact opposite? It's happened far too many times for it to not be considered true. As soon as I find them, something drives us apart. Always. Also, I'm only using season 1-2 Crowley cause season 3 isn't out yet so shush.

Captain (Present.)

The Captan is a tricky character, but I still love and relate to him despite not having finished Ghosts BBC, yet. But, through internet memes and doom-scrolling through the fandom, I've gotten enough of an idea about what he's like. He's lost someone he loved and cared for dearly, he's a leader, a good one? Debatable to most ghosts. But, he does care. He also has a lack of sleep. Very relatable to me so far, I've lost someone from my life I cared for, I'm okay when it comes to leadership, and my sleep schedule isn't the greatest. But that's not all his character, I still need to watch more episodes to really get him. But, from the few I've seen, he can be childish sometimes, in an endearing way. Or maybe I'm just insane. I dunno, he has a stick for a gun and I think that's really cute.

Hannibal (Future.)

Hannibal is a little darker than the other two, but technically has a bittersweetness to it. Btw, we're gonna forget about the cannibal aspect even if that's like his entire character in a nutshell and being gay :skull:. Hannibal is obviously insane, whether something made him this way or he was just like this, I never found out (let's forget how the only show I haven't procrastinated on is GOmens). But I'm guessing the implication of him being my future probably means I'll find my 'murder husband' to be myself with.

That's all my brain can come up with as I'm writing :c. This is probably very lazy and dumb, but whatever. i mean, this is just for me and you (online friends) so I don't think I should care too much :DDD.
