For starters, Q-pot is a Japanese jewelry and clothing brand that specializes in exquisitely delectable sweets themed pieces. Common motif are chocolate, biscuits, macarons, whipped cream, and their adorable ghost mascots! They also have a beautiful cafe where they hold high teas inspired by their jewelry lines.
The first thing I wanted to share was what inspired me to start this series in the first place- their Halloween biscuit tin filled with cookies and merengue in an elegant, gothic color scheme. I’ll definitely be taking inspiration from this when I decide to bake some Halloween cookies!
Here are some more of the cafe’s Halloween menu items, including their adorable mochi ghosts! The first set of photographs comes from their 2019 Halloween menu. The Q-pot website also has descriptions for each plate describing the concepts and contents of each menu item, which I've added below!

I love the whole design of these plates, especially the Devil Ghost Plate and Vampire Chocolat. The vampire theme is my personal favorite, from the little cherry blood droplets, bat cookies, red velvet crumbles, and of course the drinks. Though I’m personally not the biggest fan of cheese foams on teas, I think the flavors would work well together in this drink. The Vampire Chocolat looks cute and delicious and I thought the cherry compote oozing out of the mochi ghost cake was a wonderful little detail.
I think all of these sweets would be perfect inspiration for vampire themed meetups, picnics, and tea parties! Additionally, from the simpler bat shaped cookies to the more advanced jack-o-lantern macarons and meringue bites (both of which I’ve heard can be quite difficult to master), there seems to be a baking project for everyone of all levels to try out if they’re feeling inspired!
Think the desserts are just too cute to eat? You can also enjoy Q-pot’s mochi ghosts in necklace and charm form!
The mochi ghost holding the strawberry is probably my favorite of this collection, I love the color scheme of black, white, gold, and red.
Of course the chocolate mochi ghost is adorable as well, and looks perfect in addition to the Q-pot chocolate print bag!
That’s all for this post! If you’re still reading, thank you! I hope you enjoyed and that I’ll see you in the next blog! Bye for now!
