hello, world!!
i've had spacehey since i was still in highschool, but it has unfortunately sat dusty and unused for most of those two dormant years. however, with twitter crumbling, and tumblr only giving me so much to work with - i found myself blowing the dander off my spacehey page.
i'm h! i am in my first year at university and am currently working towards getting a degree in illustration @-@. i have been drawing since i could hold a pencil and if i am able to take a breather from the swamp of uni work i have i'll make sure to post some of my art ^^.
some facts about me:
-my favourite colours are navy and grey
-my favourite weather is snow or fog, i absolutely love the cold (which is good considering i live right next to the north sea XD)
-i'm a huge movie nerd - i love watching behind the scenes clips and figuring out how things work on set, i almost went to uni for media and sound production (fun fact ^^).
-i love meeting new people!! feel free to interact with me whenever, i'm usually busy but i keep coming back here as a distraction LMAO

i definitely feel the same about all the social media stuff, it's why i started this page, unfortunately i just don't have to time to be up in my room so i haven't been online here much either loll. i definitely try to utilize them as best as I can though
how's university going? im going into fashion design/marketing so i think we'd have some overlap since they're both creative fields, and im currently doing graphic design actually! from 2024 to 2026. i've also been drawing for a longgg time, less now lately unfortunately, but i persist!
hope you don't get too exhausted from school!

apologies for not seeing this before i sent a long ass reply to your blog LMAO i rehashed a lot of stuff in that reply that you or i wrote here.. fashion design/marketing is awesome!! i have a few friends who are going to do fashion design (first year for me was a foundation year where you try all courses before chosing a subject for second year) and i could not do what they are doing i think its so admirable what they are doing - i'd love to see some of your work if you have it anywhere!
i only started drawing for myself again once uni finished for me, it feels sooooo cathartic. i had a fear that i might get burnt out from drawing entirely with my workload - which might i say, was CRAZY BIG. i was in uni from 9am-5pm and sometimes as late as 10pm it was HELL but hopefully worth it in the end... other than the workload, uni has been fantastic you'll adore a creative degree when you get round to it, you'll be pushed so far beyond any limits you had previously and it feels fantastic.

no worries! i think we both might've done a bit of that loll. a foundation year sounds really good, i'm glad your university gave that out!! i took a fashion class earlier this year, and yeah, it certainly is difficult, but i need at least one technical trade related to fashion so might as well be something i could use in my everyday. i created a magazine for my big, last assignment for the class i could upload or maybe send via private chat, but other than that the things i ended up making ended up a little less than mediocre..
im glad you were able to draw again! i seriously relate to the drawing-burnout, i couldn't seem to create much if at all during my creative classes, i guess being bored gives me more surge to draw lolll. being at school that long sounds horrid... reminds me of my theatre friends. i personally havent been in theatre, but they all talk about how much they're expected to be committed, staying several hours after school and even missing whole days. they recently had a two day trip, where most came back home around 1 in the morning!! it sounds way too insane so i never joined, but i was thinking of trying it out next year if i know anyone that is. that last sentence does not sound fantastic!!! hopefully something goods comes of it i suppose as it has for you..
i am reading this at a very unreasonable time (2:31, in the morning) so i probably should go to bed, but i've been slacking on an 5-8 page accounting report that's due monday (the early morning of sunday as i type this) so.... you reap what you sow i suppose..
get that, my username is a nickname i got from online friends in 2020 and it's also stuck lol
