bit more than mid way through college update

hi guys it's been a while since i made a proper blog post 

only a few bulletins here and there from me 

but i wanted to talk about what school has been like so far cause the last one i had only been to classes for like less than a week lol

i still really like my school and my roommates and the people i met way back at orientation which is all great

the classes have been challenging and my japanese courses have been especially hard but so far i'm managing 

next week is my second round of finals so hopefully i can finish the quarter strong

and then spring break!

i really enjoyed last quarter getting to know more people and check out different things on campus and that sort of stuff has continued into this quarter

there's a lot of people that live on my floor where my dorm is that are super nice and we all have dinner sometimes or go to different events on campus

we all went to our school's rocky horror picture show club performance 

it was pretty cool i had a bit of an idea of what was going on but it was my first time so it was definitely an experience but i had fun

oh i went on apartment tours and have signed a lease with my roommates and two other girls on an apartment for next school year!

that was super exciting and the place we picked is real nice

i feel like this last quarter had less going on than the last but it's been nice for the most part

i've had some issues with myself like with my own mental health or whatever but i've persevered yk

i think spring break back at home will be real good for me 

and i miss my family and dogs so i'm glad to see them again soon

and next quarter is gonna be fun 

i don't know for sure but we want to try and do a san francisco day trip 

and the weather is already getting real nice so it'll get to a real good point by then

also we recently did the stereotypical diverse friend group sitting on the grass in the sun thing lol

i have only cracked and ordered doordash once per quarter so i think that's pretty good 

i went on a real long walk like 2 weeks ago cause i felt like i had been spending too much time inside and it was really nice

i took a lot of pictures and stuff so it was nice

i've only cried over school fr like once which i think is pretty good for a first-year college student who's pretty far from home

i'm still so excited for summer but yeah

college is good i really like it i hope that thing doesn't take away fafsa cause then i can no longer continue but overall things are going well

the only thing that sucks is that despite applying to more than hundred places by now over the span of months i have not been hired anywhere and i really need to start making money

so yeah hopefully this was a good update cause i'm making friends and enjoying life while here!
