AMKE 25!!!!!!

Anime Milwaukee 2025 was so much fun! It was my first time getting to go to a con and walk around and see cosplays. I've never had an occasion to wear this Killua cosplay I bought like 3 years ago so it was really exciting getting to dress up! I am nothing if not the most obnoxious Hunter x Hunter fan in teh room xD. I got a badge ribbon for my cosplay though so i would consider that a total win! 

A lot of people recognized my friends cosplays (Chris Chan and Liquid Chris). I was really surprised to find out that some people were getting mad at Chris Chan cosplayers (because yes, there were multiple) because Chris is a controversial critter. Personally I didn't gaf but if there were ever a place where people would care it would probably be an Anime Convention. I wanted to talk to a lot more people but I (of course) was feeling a little shy and just observed all of the super cool cosplays. I did ask all the cool cosplayers and every furry i saw to take a picture with me though so I think that counts. 

I saw a lot of Jujutsu Kaisen cosplayers, probably the most popular anime that people were dressing up as. I just finished the anime so I was super excited to see (and understand!) all the cool cosplays and references. I saw a couple Dungeon Meshi cosplays but mostly the elf dude and Senshi.... I was looking for the bad biddie Falin and Marcille cosplayers.... sigh.... LOL x3

I spent way too much money on all of the cool art I saw... but I figured that AMKE is only once a year.... I got a bunch of really cute art and many awesome stickers. I was able to scrapbook 3 pages with all of the business cards and photos I got. My badge is my favorite keepsake from the day I think... It was so weird being around so many gay people! at least anime gay..... I really did feel seen ebecause as much as I am more geared towards the music / shows / bands side of alternative people it was cool being able to cater to the side of me that LOVES ANIME!!!!! People are able to be openly weird and I felt so so normal for once! There was not a dirty look I received for my appearance and im pretty sure I spent the whole time there in awe.

I got super high before we went, and I damn near greened out on the car ride there,,, I was able to lock in once I remembered how excited I was for the con though. I thought that was really silly lololol ^.^ I guess all in all, I always knew I would be a fan of a con like this, but now im sure that I have to go out of my way to go! I want to do an even better cosplay next year!!!! 

My favorite part was the Chloe Price cosplayer I kept seeing around the con.... I didnt end up talking to her buttttttt her cosplay was my favorite of the day. Molten Freddy was a very close second :)
