Clarisse De Cagliostro, and shiro lolita.

I strive to be like Clarisse De Cagliostro from Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro. She’s been quite the inspiration to me ever since I first watched Castle of Cagliostro. 

She’s beautiful, she’s dainty, she’s a princess; a lot of what I want. I often dream of being a princess in a castle or any other sort of magical place like she was; without the whole forced marriage for familial treasure thing. Going to my local museum scratches the “princess living in a castle” itch I often get. One of my favorite parts is walking up the stairs and listening to the echo of my heels against the floor. Really adds to the whole princess feeling. 

Although, what I love most about Clarisse is her choice of dress. Her fully-white gown with a simple string of pearls and veiled crown have always captivated me. So simple, but so very beautiful and princessy. I’ve strived to replicate such an outfit; but I need the perfect outfit pieces first. 

I’ve searched around on Lacemarket to find the perfect all-white dress, to no avail. I almost had one, but it sold before I could even budget for it. It was this early-2000’s Angelic Pretty shirring jumperskirt. I wanted it so badly! Heartbreaking!

Oh, well. Maybe one day. Or I could make one myself one day. I still haven’t found the perfect shoes for my Clarisse-style outfit, either. This whole fashion thing is hard! I’m sure I can figure it all out eventually.
