school spirits ending

i am NOT happy right now

they left us on a SEASON FINALE CLIFFHANGERRRR!! and now we have to waitttt

my mom was laughing at me and saying “this is what WE had to go through when we were younger without cable tv” (i watch it with her and the rest of my family)

and anyways, i need to talk about the last episode with someone other than my sister soo

SPOILERSSS (obviously)

why does this show hate simon so much?? first, hes hit with the stress of being the only one who’s able to see his d3ad friend and he has to help her and he cant tell anyone because nobody will believe him, but THEN he finds out she wasnt even murd3red and theres a random spirit in her body, and NOW he has to figure this stuff out while trying to convince his friends. he almost blows his chance at his dream college trying to figure out this supernatural shit too. and he messes up a few times and people get so mad at him and i just feel so bad because for ONE person he was handling it amazing. 

and the whole last episode? the stress must have been insane, waiting for maddie to figure her shit out while her body is dying and he couldn’t see her at all. and then xavier calls the police even though he TOLD them that her body couldn’t leave the campus but nobody listens to him. and imagine doing ALL that just to get stuck in the spirit world and getting ZERO closure. i would just quit at that point. i feel so horrible for him and he deserves the world. he’s definitely one of my fav characters too

also him getting stuck is crazy too? its clear that the living and the d3ad can somewhat cross over and see each other, like that time with the janitor, but simon managed to get stuck. i think maddie switching back may have pushed it as well, but im still confused. is his body in the spirit world as well? and can the living still see him? is the only difference the fact that he can see all of the dead now? 

i’ve seen people theorizing that he k1lled himself to get to maddie, but i don’t think thats true. the show really emphasizes that the border between the living and the dead gets very thin, and i don’t think they would have emphasized it if it wasn’t related to simon. there IS a possibility that this is just me coping hard because i will LOSE IT if simon dies, but i dunno.

i will be SO sad if wally crosses over. i saw a video saying that they didnt confirm it in the scene because they aren’t sure if wally will be back for season three and i PRAY that he will because i want him to at least say goodbye :(

am i the only one who thought rhonda and quinn were going to be a thing? i don’t think the show will make a romance there but i used to. i think its the fact that rhonda was able to open up emotionally to quinn way faster than i think she did for maddie. they really emphasized that in the show, especially with the scene where quinn opens up to her too. they become close very fast and everyone else is standoffish to quinn so my crazy little sapphic brain thought “ooh maybe they’ll date”. i don’t think CANONICALLY they will, but ao3 is still here!! also i feel like a proud mom to the quinn/rhonda tag because i was there when it wasn’t and official fandom tag and i watched it grow from 5 fics to 25 fics :D
