when we finally allow ourselves to understand that we are not alone, we have the chance to start over.
this movie is art in its purest essence.
i can't explain how a simple little cat can evoke so much emotion and sensitivity from a viewer.
the way each animal is animated uniquely, without human expressions, makes us feel like they are truly alive and real. even with so much surrealism in the script, we become submerged in emotions, little by little, with every passing minute.
the animation of the cat, in particular, is simply perfect. just its gazes and the way its ears move already tell a story on their own.
the fact that this movie was animated in blender (a free program, by the way) with a team of only five people shows that it's possible to create something incredible with soul, without selling out to multimillion-dollar companies that only care about profit.
in flow, we get a lesson not only in life values but also in storytelling and artistic production through the relationship of animals that are completely different in their essence, yet essential to each other's existence.
for me, simply the movie of the year.
