NEW INSTA SCAM DROPPED

so I got locked out of my insta acc yesterday and this is what happened.

First, someone texted me through my friends acc asking acc asking for a favor. Me, not seeing anything strange, gladly obliged. Then it asked for my number and I gave it. Then it sent me a link and I sent it to the number as it asked. Then it said a code would be sent and it would need me to send it to the number. Then I saw that I got logged out and at this point I still thought I was talking to my friend so I asked what was going on and they said they were sorry and they would try to get me back in. Then they basically ghosted me.

AND IK HOW DUMB I AM IN THIS SITUATION YOU DONT GOTTA REPEAT WHAT I ALREADY KNOW 😭😭

TLDR: double check if it’s actually ur friend asking you for favors on insta or better yet just don’t respond to weird messages
