So what? It's no different from sharing other parts of your information and identity (well, not on the very sensitive information level like your home address and banking information, but I'm sure as a fellow citizen of the web that you already know by now that's implied) like your sexuality, gender identity, interests, hobbies, etc.
I know that some people out there are definitely faking it, but there are also those of us out there who have been legitimately diagnosed or at the very least have a good, valid reason to believe that they may be on the spectrum based on the current DSM-5 criteria.
Well I think its cringe and I’m gonna express that there’s too many people who make autism their whole personality just like ppl who make LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ12345+ their whole personality hashtag CRINGEEE

Some of them self diagnose themselves and/or just want to fit in to be liked in a group. It's pretty sad though considering some actual autistic people would want to befriend other actual autistic people :(
