Eidolon

This guilt is suffocating

Fractured reflections in a mirror of filth

Glass embedded flesh

These wounds reek of infection

To drain them is to heal

But to heal is to leak toxicity onto others

What petty relief

Let it fester

Devour me fragment by fragment

Craters like peep holes into all that is unforgiving

Knotted holes in a fence

Allow witness to that which should never be revealed

To you

I'm sorry

How I long to tear you apart

I'm sorry

You're beautiful when you cry

I'm sorry

Lay bare your insides before me

I'm sorry

To the divine

I plead for forgiveness

I am damned to sin

Punish me til I sin no more

A god's will

Let it rain

To this world

I do not belong
