Honestly, it’s so hard to talk about being gay in a Latino household. Because you know not everyone is gonna take it well and or rarely get accepted by everyone in the family. Machismo culture honestly is a main reason why it’s so hard for Latino LGBTQ+ people to come out. Because you are seen as weak.
The fact that I know not everyone in my family is gonna accept me, knowing their past. is heartbreaking but i just have to face it.
