Walking gently down the hall, I can hear your heavy footsteps behind me. I continue to ignore the whispers about us. I know we're a strange pair, but I couldn't care less. Your music bumps loudly through your headphones. I can hear it slightly, but I don't mind; as long as I'm with you, I don't mind the stares and whispers or the obnoxious loud music you play. Because I'm with you, and you're always here to make things better. “Hey, do you want to go to Burger King for lunch?” He looks at me with his soft brown eyes. “Sure, I'm fine with anything.” I smile at him, taking in his features. “Your roots are growing out; do you need help re-dyeing them?” I couldn't help but notice the small frown on his face when I mentioned them. “Yeah, that would be great.” A smile goes right back on his face. We continue down the hallway, making jokes and laughing. Soon enough, we reach our class. I guess we'll have to continue our conversation tomorrow.
