Unity

Compassion has died in people. In today's society, it seems to be almost normalized to hate, and hate comes in many ugly forms and variations. It rears its nastiness at random almost. Hate has no age, no race, or gender for that matter, it’s endless and boundless. But what exactly does hatred do? What does it contribute to our society? The honest answer is nothing. Hatred does nothing but separate us even further. Hatred is the true disease of mankind. I can only pray for a world that doesn't revolve around bullying, exclusion and tearing others down. For the world to truly start healing we need unity, compassion and understanding. I hope that one day we can reach this milestone to collectively better ourselves as humans.

This is my only hope as someone who has always been sensitive, compassionate, and empathetic. I just fear that nowadays I'm losing it myself. The random acts of aggression from others lately have been off-putting and scary. It's turning me into someone I don't know. I feel on guard and I find myself getting aggressive (out of fear honestly). I keep picking up the pieces and try again, but this world is becoming something I fear.

If anyone reads this, please remain compassionate, try to help others when you can, please stay kind.
