unnamed poem

In shadows where the whispers lie,

Beneath the painted, somber sky,

Occultic dreams in midnight's breath,

A dance of life entwined with death.

With eyeliner streaks like falling tears,

We penned our hearts through phantom fears,

The rapture of a broken song,

A melody where we belong.

In oversized shirts and frayed jeans worn,

We wandered past the world, forlorn,

Each heartbeat thumped a rhythm sweet,

A symphony of sorrow, bittersweet.

The moonlight kissed our lonely graves,

In silent nights, we became the waves,

Of haunting thoughts that drifted slow,

In sepulchral gardens where lost souls grow.

Yet in this darkness, light would bloom,

An ember flickers, dances in gloom,

So let us write our tales undone,

In ink of starlight, we are one.
