(Pict)ures of Pictish women (Ancient Scotland)

If you clicked on this I assume you'd know about the picts but just in case you don't I'll tell a bit about them before showing the photos

The picts/Kaltis/cruthin are a group of people native to scotland. they mostly lived in the north-east region but some lived more south and central. there are many tribes of Pictish people and they do not all dress the same. their most famous art is their carvings into stone. that is what we will be looking at today. carvings of women were very rare so we don't know much about Pictish woman clothing. but here are the surviving carvings.
