Discouraged (Poem)

I can’t lie like I haven’t been discouraged
Cause I HAVE
Been feeling damaged
Wondering how to manage

7 different volunteer careers
That fails to help me escape this trap
We call the work life
But God gave me life

And with this life comes pain and struggle
With struggle comes hustle
A hustle I haven’t abandoned, but desire a profit,
To help my exit
And that’s where I need to quit

Quit the expectations and just continue to show my greatness
The uniqueness that this pen holds
The ideas that can’t be done like the one I see in the mirror
The era that’s waiting for me to tap into

I was discouraged
But God encouraged me to hustle
To not let the things that’s out of my control
Stop my stroll to the top
God made a creator in I, and I Intend to show off his artwork
