intro (first blog :0)

Hello there~

Hi, nice to meet you all - this my first blog (ever!!) I've wanted to get one off the ground for a few years now and I saw this on Tiktok and I was like yo, this seems cool af I want to try this
I do also have a tumblr but I'm planning on using it more like a portfolio for my art shenanigans more than an actual blog, so, here I am!

I wanted this first one to be a little introduction and a list of what I'm going to start blogging about (It's mostly just me screaming about things that interest me but not the point) This list will change the longer I do this for and as my interests changes, but i'll definitely say when things are changing.

So without further ado, let's go!

Meet Dizzy! | she/her, they/them or it/its

Online I go by Dizzy! Not my real name, obviously, it comes from one of my first usernames on instagram, the theme stuck with me and now I use it as a screen name and the name of my art sona with lore to go with it lol. Maybe I'll do a post about my sona at some point soon, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
Other things about me that I don't know where to stick anywhere else is that I am 20 years old and I am Australian. 

I got my HSC in '22, and am currently going for a Cert IV in Marketing and Communications! Next year, I'll be going to an animation school for 2D animation and eventually, I plan on doing a Cert IV in Media and Journalism. I am god awful at maths.

I am an eclectic pagan witch, practicing for about 7 years now. I am a polytheist, I work with Ares, Aphrodite, Athena and Apollo. If you are a Christian or of any other religious background that might be different from mine, I welcome friendly conversation about each other's beliefs. 

I'm big into history, art and media analysis, which might be the foundation of my entire personality, so take that as you will. I am a writer and an artist too so that probably doesn't help lmao

  Anything that piques my interest that isn’t one of the topics I’ve mentioned below (probably mostly musicals, one piece or supernatural or my ocs tbh — maybe even just life stuff)
• Mythology (any)

  I know more about Greek mythology than any other culture, but that's why books exist. I'm hoping to expand my knowledge through the use of this blog ^-^
• Witchcraft (inc. deity worship)

  I love learning about my practice more, and I want to share that with anyone who wants to listen - my deities, my practices, tarot reading, what I've put into my book of shadows etc.
• History (ancient)

  Maybe this comes from my spiritual beliefs, but I want to explore it a bit further; war, politics, the works :)
• History (art, religion)
  Art history! One of my favourite things to talk about in the history of ever! Religion kind of bleeds into here, so that's why I put it here too. 
• Writing (my own/general)
  The things I've written and feel like sharing. Couple hundred to a few thousand words each. Or just talking about writing in general 
• Art (analysis & symbolism)

  Looking at the stories behind pieces and the things in the work that tells that story

  Talking about it, things I’ve learnt, sharing studies etc. or just talking about cool things I’ve found.
