February Retrospect
Today's Rib-Eye Black Dragon's theatre of blogging about random things, here is what I've experienced browsing Spacehey as it begun to be my favorite social media I've ever used.
Reposted Review about what I liked about Spacehey
I'm sure SpaceHey has a forum building template used to have the feature that it has. But, I've never been to similar sites, which is why I'm judging it on its own product.
Blogging and having been heard, even it's a meager of one comment per 2 posts, is a lovely feedback to receive, positive or negative. I've made blog sites from Blogger and Wordpress but none stick to me because I really, really am stuck in my own lonely world.
Bulletin feature is a great idea and addition to this site. It has the feel of making tweet-like microblogs in a spur of a moment, and gets discarded a day or week later.
Instant Messages is a must-have function, so I'd expect it to be there. I've heard there's the group chat one. Sadly, I've never been invited to any group chats. That's a me problem. I'm sort of shy of new people anyhoo.
Forums are a little less than active, but I'm not one to complain. I post more than I should there, since I'm not required to write article length blogs like this one, for example.
What I've been up to?
I've been messing with CSS and customize my layout mostly for my blogs. My first attempt is going for a frutiger aero theme, but it looked like an eyesore, so I scrapped that and started from scratch. Most of my effort was put into making that pop-up bubble chat. I'll go with the material look for now. ┐(´~`ˇ)┌
I'm also making a survey for anime fans. Check it out here --> https://tally.so/r/wQO8v1
It's nothing more than for funsies. Only 5 people answered the survey so far.
As for Yu-Gi-Oh, I participated in 3 different events, or 2, since I've been in one duel with the recent, now ended event, Tryout Trial 2004 one.
Oh, and it's Women's Month since it's March now. ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
My verdict:
Spacehey may seem "dead" to most people. I find it comfortable expressing myself on this social media. And I'll probably stay more here than, let's say: Instagram, facebook, twitter or such and such. The blog isn't as long as it should be because I spent too much time customizing the CSS.
This is Rib-Eye Black Dragon writing. 🐲
Signing off. Peace. 🐲🐲

Honestly, I prefer spacehey to be "dead". Im tired of the overstimulating nature of the internet. I want to peacefully enjoy the internet, and see longer and more relaxed content by a small circle of people.
I also prefer to share my life with a smaller number of people, who regularly follow and interact with my work, than random strangers who got my stuff randomly because of the algorithm or whatever

I found SpaceHey in a Reddit post and remembered the days of MySpace so joined yesterday to see what it would allow customization-wise. Glad you were mesmerized by my profile page. I love creating animated visuals with CSS among other things.
You seem older than in your 20's playing Pokemon back to black and white. I remember I was in Jr. High when Persona was first released on PS1 and became obsessed with it. I played Persona 3 on a PSP emulator which is a really interesting Persona version storytelling-wise and battle style. To call your persona in battle the character shoots themselves in the head which I thought was dramatic to the point of something that might actually call a persona out to act on behalf of the character and definitely different from other games in the series.
For some reason I can't see my profile image while I'm logged in to SpaceHey on my profile page or on your page under your friends list, but if I'm logged out it shows up. Interested in playing around adjusting my profile with HTML/CSS. That was my favorite part of MySpace; making my profile MY profile with cool graphics and styles. It was so unique for a flash of time, then Facebook made everything look the same and I got pissed off about it and wrote a "note" on my Facebook profile (a feature, like posts or photos, of Facebook from a long time ago that is never used anymore) saying I was leaving it forever. The damn thing still has me on it, at least to keep in touch with my friends and family on messenger who live on there. Ah well.
Have a fun day however that looks to you :)
Man, I'm almost my 30s now don't remind me
Man, I LOVE Persona 3 and Pokemon! I never got to beat Black and White and just gave the game away to my younger cousins for a Playstation game. My first ever Persona game was P3P, and only in that version where I can choose to play as a female protagonist.
I discover Spacehey by accident, it's mostly from browsing through "AlternativeTo" website. Glad to hear Reddit is talking about this site ! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
