i made a blogpost not long ago about how i was nervous about my new job but im like three days in and it's actually alot more simple/streamlined than what i was told. the dude i work with is chill, always conversing and teaching me. not as much measuring as i expected.
today made like 14 boxes of katsu curry, 12 boxes of korean fried chicken bites, 3 boxes of edamame and 6 boxes of veg, duck and chicken gyoza.
best perk is the free food, the boss said i can just grab whatever i wanted on break for free, or i could make whatever i wanted which was awesome, by the end of the shift he was impressed with me which is something i very rarely hear from people.
also, i got my uniform today. looks small but fits perfectly fine for me.
better than working on checkouts imo, 10/10 job.
